Lavazza Welcomes Monica Galetti!

Lavazza has announced that Monica Galetti has joined their UK team of Brand Ambassadors.The Samoan-born chef is well-known from her work as a judge on the BBC television programme ‘Masterchef The Professionals’.Her London restaurant ‘Mere’ has been gathering plaudits and has served Lavazza coffee since its opening.Monica has published two books to date: ‘The Skills’ and ‘Monica’s Kitchen’.By entering Lavazza’s Top Chef Brand Ambassadors programme she joins company with many other world-famous chefs, including Jason Atherton, Ferran Adria and Massimo Bottura. Monica will join with Lavazza for a range of events in London and Turin, including work at Wimbledon and hosting a Top Gastronomy event at ‘Mere’.

Lavazza To Sponsor Williams Formula 1

Williams Formula 1 racing team has announced that Lavazza will be added to their list of sponsors for 2020. Lavazza’s logo will appear on the car, teamwear and the race suits of drivers George Russell and Nicholas Latifi. The relationship seems to have developed through Lavazza’s personal sponsorship of Latifi, (Formula 2 runner up in 2019), and his graduation to F1. To keep things in the family, Sofina Foods, (owned by Nicholas’s father Michael), was also confirmed as a Williams sponsor for this season. The Importance of Robusta

David Cutler Introduces Official Lavazza Training Courses

As part of a new feature at Piano Coffee we'd like to introduce friend of the website and coffee expert David Cutler with some exciting news about the paid courses now available through the Lavazza training centre.PC: Hi David! It's great to meet you. Could you tell us a little about yourself?DC: My coffee journey started back in 2013. I worked first as a trainer for Lavazza teaching barista skills and coffee education. I spent time in Turin and created education programs in the UK and Ireland. I studied with Paul Meikle-Janney at Dark Woods roastery gaining my SCA qualifications and shortly after qualified as an AST for the Specialty Coffee Association where I now teach Barista Skills and Brewing....

Breaking News: Arise Sir Giuseppe

Giuseppe Lavazza, Vice Chairman of the company which carries his name, has announced that he has been honoured, in his home country of Italy, as a Cavaliere del Lavoro (the equivalent of a Knighthood for Services to Industry).
